i just got a used Catch-a-Call Max from amazon because i am stuck with earthlink dial-up and need to be able to see when others call. everything works on it except for the newest feature, a usb caller id. i have everything plugged in right but when i plugged in the usb/fax cord, it booted me off the internet
P.S i don't have a fax, so the half usb, half fax split cord has the fax part not plugged into anything
P.S.S it says it came w/ a cd on the package- i didnt get one. and also when i plug it into my pc, the computer says it gets installed and ready to be used, but when i try to click on it (removeable disk (F
) it says it needs to be formatted- when i try to format it it says that it cannot be formatted
