I was talking on the phone when it died and now i can't get it to turn back on. I figured I should just charge it but when i plugged it in all that happend was this little tiny light i didnt know exsisted started flashing. i've read the manual and searched for stuff but i just can't figure it out. any ideas?
 
Yes if it dies that much it will take a much longer time to recover, plug it in and leave it plugged in overnight it will be find Im sure.. this happen to me and my ipod, it was so low on the battery but thank GOD I had an AC charger, no computer charger would charge it not strong enough.. once it sat charging to the AC it worked fine!! I wonder how many people toss their iPod not knowing they can fully charge it on an AC charger.. if the computer one wont work
