No, I don't think so. Most fortune tellers are simply rather smart people who are good at picking up on little things. At first they'll ask you questions. eg. "Are you interested in travel?' If you reply enthusiastically they will stick to that topic, expanding it into other things. Sometimes it's quite easy to guess where someones going to end up. If they seem smart, and have an interest in computers, chances are they'll end up in working with technology... it's not really fortune telling in the mystical sense. Fortune tellers are fun to talk to, but try tricking them by saying that you're fascinated with art and they'll soon be fooled. One once got the misconception that I was gay... I don't know if it was something I said... interesting woman.
