Can files become corrupt if your computer turns off while downloads are

still running on Bit torrent? I've been downloading three games using Bit Torrent. They are very big files (7.42 Gigs each). Unfortunately my computer messed up, froze and had to be rebooted while the downloads were still going, thus interrupting my downloads.

I was wondering, could one of the files be corrupted in this process? I have no way of checking to see if the files are playable until 3 weeks time. I would appreciate it if someone could provide their knowledge and expertise on this matter.

Thanks guys

No most of the time this will not effect your downloads. There is a chance something could get lost on the way but in the end it will find its way back to you. NO worries your downloads will be fine once you start Bit torrent back up

Well .. that depends on you torrent client and the nature of files you are downloading ..

if you are using uTorrent try right clicking on the name of the torrent and choose " Force Recheck "

Good Luck !

If your computer froze from overload or something, then it probably shouldnt affect ur files. I reccomend for u to switch to utorrent. It really is the 100% best and lightest torrent application.
