Can i add a Male Betta with these fish?

I have a 34 gallon tank with

5 harequin resboras
6 cherry barbs
4 platys
2 corycats (which il get rid of soon)


Can i add a male siamese fighter with these fish?

He should be fine with those fish, however my only concern with this is whether or not your betta has longer, more flowing fins or not. If he has longer fins, then you may find the barbs and rasboras nipping his fins, other than that there are no other concerns.

possibly... while cherry barbs are one of the more peaceful barbs, they can still be nippy. other than that you shouldn't have any problems.
