Adding ringtones to LG Neon II Sorry to bump up an old thread but......... I just bought one today, Friday 12 August, for AT&T. I got a red one, looks pretty cool. It replaces a Motorola V3xx RAZR. To assign MP3 ringtones they must be encoded at 96 kbps and at 22 seconds in length. That's what I did after playing around with the MP3s and bitrates. I use Adobe Audition to edit the audio files that I have down from full length themes to 22 second snippets. I loaded them onto the phone via the USB cable into the SOUNDS folder. Once in the phone I went to SETTINGS > AUDIO & RINGTONES > RINGTONE > SOUNDS. It'll have to load up once you transfer the files into the phone so wait for it. It takes a couple seconds. You should be able to see the files in the directory, simply browse to the tune you want and press the center SET button to select it. To set specific tunes as ringer IDs to identify certain callers: go to MY STUFF > AUDIO. Let it load up, scroll to the song you want to set, press the button under OPTIONS, then USE AS > RINGTONE ID. You'll then see the address book. Scroll down to the entry you want, select it (center button). It'll then ask you SET RINGTONE ID? Select YES. It'll then tell you SAVED. Hope I was able to help people researching and coming in here via Google searches. Thanks!! Gonzo tbirddmnd AT att dot net
