I was in a car accident last week, i think it was the other guys fault and the other guy blames me, conflicting stories. no one was charged however my car got a lot of damage, $5000 compared to his maybe $400. i also hit my head and shoulder, my head hit against the window on my left side (i was T-Boned from the right side). now i think its just whipslash, i have never had any neck/whipslash problems before in my life so i am not sure. the day of the accident i spent about 3 hours in the ER room and the doc just told me that its normal and i will have pain for about 4 days and he prescribed me percocet, which is reallllllly strong. i was at the local docs office today and he made me a appt for xrays and physio. now my main question is that i work part time and i am missing time. i have missed all this week due to the neck pain. is there any sort of way that i can be compensated from some1, either my job (the source) or the government or my car insurance. i can not afford to miss work. i would barely make enough to pay my bills and now i am missing alot of work, i know its just minimum wage but for me its alot of money. if i can be compensated, can someone please tell me how i would go about this. thanks
