Last week with all the rain and snow melting, water went in thru vent into the cold room and under the laminate flooring in the finished part of the basement. We do not use the cold room for anything (i don't even know why it's there).  I was wondering if sealing the vent is the best option and what are the consequences if any.  Thank you!</p></blockquote><p></p>
