Can I burn a VCD mpeg file into a DVD? Please help!?

if it's an mpeg file, ulead's movie factory will take about 4 to 5 movie files and author all of them onto one dvd. this process may take a few hours depending on your computer's speed and the dvd's writing speed.
 
Most VCD files are in MPEG1 format. So you need software to convert the file to MPEG2 format before burning to a DVD that will play on a normal DVD player. Research software to make sure it can convert from MPEG1 to MPEG2. Most DVD authoring packages can do this, but not all. I believe the Ulead one mentioned previously can do it with an add-on.
