Can I control my DirecTV DVR with my Google TV?

I just purchased a 32" Google TV. I have a DirecTV HD DVR connected to my network. My Google TV is upstairs and is purely using WiFi(no connections to TV or game consoles). When I select "TV" on my Google TV, it sees the DirecTV DVR, but won't let me do anything. Is there a way I can view my recorded items on my Google TV?
