So I just got my Sony Head Unit for my car. I'm not sure on the model number, but I'll find it in a bit and post it on here. Anyways, I have two options: connect the iPod through the usual phono jack or connect the iPod with a USB cable. The latter is preferred as it charges the iPod and improves sound quality as the iPod itself is not used as the amplifier when you do this. Anyways, I hate the fact that when you use the USB cable, you have to use the nob on the Head Unit to select songs! I want to use the click wheel on the iPod still. Is there any way to use the USB cable AND STILL use the iPod itself to control music selection?
