Can I cook the outside grill recipes on my indoor hibachi grill?

I recently bought an indoor hibachi grill that I can't wait to use. I was wondering if the recipes people use to cook on a gas or outside grill can be cooked identically on my indoor grill?

It does have a pre-heat function.
