can i do voice texting on sony ericsson xperia arc?

on the samsung galaxy s2, i noticed there is a voice button where you can speak and it will type the text for you. i thought this was an android 2.3 feature. but i've also noticed the sony ericsson xperia arc doesnt have this button.

is it possible to do voice texting on the sony ericsson xperia arc? (ive heard you can download new keyboards)
 
I do it on mine with the Keyboard From Android 2.3 App
