the CPU is in idle mode when your computer is in sleep mode.

just like humans: its hard to do anything productive when asleep. You waiting only for a wakeup call and that's the same with your PC

No, because when your computer is in sleep mode. The only thing it is doing is maintaining your session in a low power state until it is turned back on. Its like doing homework while your a sleep, you cant do it

nope, you can have the screen shut off and the computer locked, but sleep stops processes.
