I looked at the Lexus IS and all the models use the same 225/45VR17 tire. I was wondering if its possible to put a 235 or 240 tire on it? Also, I don't know why I think this but would a bigger tire have a negative effect on the handling? What I mean is that I know wider tires means more traction but I mean because the rim usually fits a smaller tire, would the handling not be as good because the tire is a little bigger than it should be? Like in a turn would there be some looseness or squishiness? I guess like a person wearing bigger pants than he should be. I mean or 245
