Can I get a new phone from Rogers or Bell even though I have a Fido contract?

Okay well.. I have a fido contract cellphone plan, but I want a new phone. Fido doesn't have the phone I want and Rogers does... Can I buy a phone from Rogers even though I still have my contract?
