can I have a blu ray disc AND a surround sound all hooked to the same system?

thinking of getting a blu ray disc player, I already have a surround sound and dvd player system can I hook up the blu ray disc player to it or to my lcd tv? or do I have to take off the surround/dvd system?
would the blu ray just hook to the tv and the surround? HELP
 
Yes you can put a blu ray player on your surround sound. Depending how you have it setup, run the three video cables or HDMI <if you use HDMI mute your tv while you use your dvd> to your tv then find a open input on your receiver hook that up. Turn everything to the input you hooked it up to it should work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
