I have been with T-Mobile since the 17th of November 2006, shortly after taking out my contract I was promoted to having my own accommodation. I had no problems paying the monthly bill. During the month of March I lost my Job due to being made redundant, so paying my bill became virtually impossible. I eventually found employment and paid off my debts to T-Mobile and have had no problem with paying the bills. My contract phone is unusable due to water damage so I contacted my insurance company only to be told my insurance policy had ended in March. I was shocked to discover this as I had received no letters of this and was still paying via T-mobile who was taking an extra £5 out of my bank account. I rang T-Mobile who apologized for this and they lowered my tariff back down. I was unable to claim a replacement phone, but the call centre employee promised I would be able to claim a new phone by renewing my contract on the 2nd of Jan 2008. I couldn't at the time to a record of debt.
Before The 2nd of January I rang regarding a new handset, I was interested in the LG Viewty and whether that was available as free on my tariff. The female employee who dealt with this call informed me this was not free on the flext 30 therefore I would have to upgrade to the flext 35. I asked about renewing my contract and was told I would be able to after the 2nd. After the 2nd of January I rang again this time I spoke to various employees, I was put through to customer service and explained my circumstances he said I was able to renew but I would have to be redirected to that department after moving up my price plan. I moved up my place plan to the flext 35 only to be redirected and told I would have to wait a further 3 months as it takes six months to clear the record. I feel unfairly treated, if I complain would I be able to recieve this new handset, I feel as if it's the least they can do seeing they've lied and stole money off me???
