Can I put a Rogers sim card in a Virgin phone?

My sister got a new phone from virgin, they never sent it to her, They told her she already got it, she never did. All of a sudden two and a half months later they send her the phone. She bought a new cell 2 weeks ago so she wants to know if I this new one.

I have a pay as you go rogers cell, The virgin phone is also pay as you go. Can I just switch the sim cards or do I have to jail break it?

If I have to jail break it, how? websites?

If the mobile from Virgin is Locked to the network then you will not be able to use Rogers sim card.You need to unlock the mobile and not jailbreak it.Jailbreaking allows a user to have more privileges to the phone to change themes,applications etc.Only unlocking allows the user to change network.You can get the unlock code for your mobile from Simpleunlocking.com by mentioning the mobile make,model and once you receive the unlock code you can follow the free instructions on how to enter the unlock code from Mobileunlockguide.com and remove the restriction easily.
