Can i put a t-mobile prepaid phone sim card in a sidekick?

well i really want a sidekick. but i have motorola renew wich is t-mobile. is there a way that if i put that sim card into the sidekick it will work?
 
if the sidekicks unlocked so other networks could be used on it, then yes
