Can i sell a T-mobile Phone to someone else with T-mobile without unlocking

the phone? I want to sell a T-mobile Dash on eBay, but the phone is not unlocked. If someone else had T-mobile, could they buy this phone and still use it normally if they put their sim card in it?

Please respond, i need to sell this phone soon because the service charges for internet and email are too much and i am tired of paying extra bucks for it.
