You don't have to be Jewish to like some Jewish ideals and "practice" them. You don't have to change your religion to appreciate different aspects and concepts from other religions. But I can tell you from experience (I'm an orthodox Jew) that religion to me, is everything. Its involved in every aspect of my life. What I eat, what I wear, how I act, what I van do and not do, etc. So I think you have to define for yourself, what do you mean by "be part Jewish"?
