My phone is currently on my ex wifes Verizon plan, but she holds it over my head all of the time and keeps threatening to cancel the contract on it and constantly suspends the service on it when she gets mad about something. My current girl friend would like to put my phone under her plan. I own the phone I have, is there any way to move it to my girlfriends plan if it is still active on my ex wifes plan?

Hi Jason! You sure can move your line from one account to the other! It's called Assumption of Liability. The way it works is the current Account Owner of your line (your ex-wife) would need to call our Customer Care team to authorize the assumption of your line. She would need to provide the name of the new owner (your girlfriend), and be given a brief overview of how her bills will change (they'll drop in price). After that, your girlfriend would have up to 30 days to call Customer Care to accept responsibility for your line. She will also be educated her her bills will change (they'll increase) and how she will be responsible for whatever time is left on your current Customer Agreement.

Two calls to 800-922-0204. That's it!

Thanks for asking about this. Best of luck!
