Has anyone ever traveled with their cockatoo before? Has anyone ever taken a cockatoo with them in their semi or RV?

When I was much younger, my Goffins Too used to ride on the head rest of my seat in the car everywhere I went. That was back when I didn't have the sense God gave a doughnut of course. Had I wrecked...I don't even want to think about the consequences. I don't see anything wrong with travelling with your bird. Just make sure if you do you have him/her properly restrained in an Avian approved travel cage or carrier. I'd also suggest consulting your Avian Specialist to get their input on the best, safest solution possible.

As long as they are safe and warm as well as fed and watered allowed toys and given attention why not. But I do not suggest you take one if you will be leaving it alone unattended on the off chance your able to stay in a hotel or can not have the heater/ac running. Make sure you have a cage or atleast a travel cage/kennel for it

I know of a truck driver who travel with his African Grey parrot. So yes, you can. You will need a car perch, a portable cage, a flightsuit or harness, food, and water.
