Can I trade my Unicel Phone in for A Samsung Sway?

My friend Stephen told me that since I have a brand new phone from Unicel [which was bought out by Verizon] I can trade it in for a Samsung Sway, instead of the three free crappy phones that they have offered. Does anyone know if this is true?

I would be trading a Sony Ericsson W580i which is relatively new, for the Samsung sway, if it were possible.
