I am the happy Mother of a beautiful Serval kitten who owns me, not the other way around. 
We had planned to bring a kitten home in the Fall but ours came sooner as we were bumped up the waiting list. We're thrilled but have a quandry. When our little boy is almost 2 and 1/2 months old we are scheduled to go on our summer vacation. It is approximately a 5 hour car ride to a beautiful home on the bay. Is it better to bring the Serval with us and put him through the ride AND a new environment (Servals hate change), or leave him in the comfort of his home with a loved and trusted house/cat sitter? New person but same environment and his domestic cat syblings. I have done tons of research on this and asked many breeders but everyone has a different opinion. What's yours?
