Can I turn a regular t-mobile phone (sidekick preferably) into a prepaid

phone without a contract? I want a sidekick, but I cant get a new plan. I am currently with sprint too. Is there anyway I can change a sidekick into a prepaid phone?
 
yes all of t-mobile phones can be turned into prepaid u just have to buy the starter kit which has the sim card and some minutes.
