I might buy my friends old iPhone (3GS) from her. But it was from Telus and I'm on Rogers. I was thinking I could just put my Sim card into it but I want to make sure that it will work. Will I have to unlock it or are these networks just not compatible? Please help; thanks in advance. =)

No,it's impossible. Both are different network.Unlocked CDMA mobile only work in same network. So you can able to use any GSM network sim.If you need unlock your iphone 3GS try Remote unlocking method. It's the best way to unlock your mobile. If you are interested in this method visit Unlock-zone.com Here you can unlock your mobile without jailbreaking
