Yes, I'm a techie-moron. We've established that. Now, my question:
I'm wanting to switch to T-Mobile's "pay-as-you-go" plan, but all the stores in my area are out of phones. Can I use an i-Wireless phone (since they have the exact model I want), and replace the SIM card with one from T-mobile? I read somewhere that i-Wireless is affiliated with T-mobile, so I don't see where it should be a problem, right?
Also, I used to have Tracfone, and they said my number was an AT&T-based number. Can I transfer that from Tracfone (who SUCKS) to T-Mobile, since T-Mobile and AT&T are merging?
Thank you in advance. Full points posted to the responder whom answers clearly and concisely, without mocking my non-techie status.
