Can i use an old T-Mobile phone that uses a SIM card, with boost mobile?

I have an old phone that I loved from t-mobile, and it uses a sim card and was just wondering if i could just use that with a boost mobile sim card.
 
Sorry it won't work. Boost Mobile sim card uses a network called IDEN which is part of the Nextel network. T Mobile cell phones uses sim card as well but they work on GSM network. So two different networks. Boost Mobile sim card will not work with any T-Mobile cell phone.
