Can I use an Rogers Sim card, with the pre-paid phone?

I have a Rogers cell-phone with a year contract left but i need a new phone and i dont want to upgrade, cuz they force you to sign again with them. There is this phone i really like its for 95$, but its a pre-paid phone, so i am wondering if i can buy that one and put my original sim card in, and it will still work?

what is Mobile Phone brand and model You going to buy?
If the Phone is a locked Phone,You can't use other GSM Network Sim card in the phone.If the Phone is an Unlocked Phone means you can use any GSM Network Sim card in the Phone.You can Unlock locked Phones using the Unlock code from the site Unlocking4u.com/supported-phones/rs6wp7/ after unlock it use with any GSM Network Sim card in the Phone.
