Can I use an unlocked T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy s3 with AT&T?

I am planning on getting an unlocked t-mobile samsung galaxy s3, but I currently have AT&T and I'm not planning on getting a data plan. Will this work? I am upgrading from a dumbphone, so I will have to get my SIM card cut too right?
 
You can buy a micro sim outright, have it activated to the acct with the dumbphone.
Then, call att and have them put a block on ALL internet on that phone. Then, yes. But keep an eye on your bill, make sure they dont tack it on later.

And dont EVER tell them or they will force a data plan on you.
