Can i use the denon avp 8000 to build up my karaoke system if i already

have the DVD player and mixer? I already have speakers, a mixer, and a dvd player, so would all of these work well together as a karaoke system? Are these the only things I need, or are there other things necessary? And also, is the Denon AVP 8000 -5.1 preamplifier a reliable device?
