Recently I was advised that the company was making reduction to the workforce and my position was eliminated. As a result I was layed off permentley. Per our company handbook it states that upon termination the balance of vacation would be paid out. Thats it. Now they are trying to tell me that know if they are going to pay me the full balance of my vacation or when they may pay it out. Can anyone tell me if there is laws against this? Or reference me to a website for further information.
