Can She Have Colitis?

My 73 year old grandmother has colon cancer so she now has a stoma and they had to remove most of her inside organs and such. She has not been in good shape in a long time......she has had two blockages and two surgeries to remove them since the stoma has been inserted. Last night she was admitted to the hospital because she passed out twice and had alot of abdominal pain and bleeding i the stoma.The people at the hospital said that is was colitis, but she should still be seen by her regular doctor to get his opinion. Today she went to see her regular doctor and he said that there is no way it could be colitis becuase she does not have the inside parts like you and I...she has very few organs and intetsines left....he thinks she has another blockage....WHAT DO YOU THINK IT SOUNDS LIKE?
