Abstract
? amino acid reduced by different agents (NaBH4/H2SO4, NaBH4/BF3.OEt2 and BH3/THF), then used different equivalent of these agents to choose the best one resulting to chiral amino alcohols. They were reacted with EtO2CCl to give the carbamates, which cyclised in traces of K2CO3 at 125-130 under vacuum to obtain the chiral 4-benzyl-oxazolidin-2-one in high yields.
