I want to write a Sonic the Hedgehog fanfic where Sonic befriends a (REAL) lonely human boy who is NOT Chris Thorndyke. Everybody hates Chris & thanks to him, any human boy character who admires Sonic is instantly seen as a Chris "clone". How do I make my boy character likable & not a Chris clone?
