can someone help me and try to tell me if my jack dempsey is a female or male?

i want to know if my jack dempsey is male or female i know something with the fins and if they are pointier then they are female but i dont one to compare it to and i know if u look at the blue spots on the gill plate females have more but once again i dont have anything to compare it to here are links to pics of my little jack
