[QUOTE="Rease, post: 2570617, member: 874777"] Hello all. I have a HP Pavillion dv6700 laptop with a pioneer dvd rw k17b internal DVD burner drive. I recently have been experiencing issues with burning DVDs. It is saying that my burn speed is too low or the DVD is not compatible with the write speed of the burner and will not burn anything. I didn't have this problem until recently and it burned other DVDs fine until then. I have tried numerous brands of DVDs and none of them seem to work. I have also noticed that only the write speed of 2.4x shows in the drop down menu now...it had other options before. I have looked for firmware updates for the DVD burner and there isn't any. I have also checked device manager to make sure DMA was enabled. I am running windows 7 operating system and have no clue what has happened to keep me from burning at a higher speed. I have also tried different burning software programs to see if I can get around it...no luck that way either. What has happened and how can I fix this? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
