GCSE's? You need a DEGREE in law or politics or similar courses, otherwise, you wont even get in the door. But, if you plan on sticking with Alevel etc, you should consider; Language (prob french). Further Maths. Chemistry. History. Economics. Politics. IT/Computing. English. Choose your favs out of those.

You work all day, everyday. You will be on call. Military Training can help but hat requires at least 4 years in the army. The pay is not hundreds of thousands and you wont be James Bond, but, they would pay for your travel and expenses. You could also retire at 50 with a HUGE pension.

You will not be able to chose a job. They will find and chose you if you stand out. They would give you strenous interviews over months and youd have to learn to lie to everyone you love as you will be given an alias no matter what you do.

If you want to be in intelligence, they will find you and they will chose you. They wont take early 20 year olds as you have to be mature. And, they wont take anything less than the best. You have to stand out of the crowd and you have to be fucking dedicated.

work, but unsure of gcses i need.? im going to choose options for GCSES soon, and i want to pick the right sort of GCSEs which would help me in the job i want when im older. mi6/mi5 sound interesting, but i was wondering is the amount of work you put in worth the pay, as it isn't supposed to be that good? and what do they do, i understand the differences, but if mi6 is more out of uk based intelligence, does this mean you need to be strong at foreign languages? and what qualifications do you need for the jobs..

im also interested in detective type work, solving crime, and what subjects/qualifications at gcse/A Level do you need for detective work? and what is the pay?

sorry for all the questions, it takes ages to search them individually and not always get the answer.
also what do mi5/6 look for in agents, what skills do they want? same with detectives!
thankyou.
