Can someone please give me a step by step process on how to Format Samsung S2

External Hard Disk? My 500G external hard disk needed to be format in order to be able to use again, but I don't know how.

So, please help me.

@Liset, that's what I did. After I click the format button, it pop out a small window that say format local disk. Then I click start, however the computer doesn't seem to respond after I click the start button.
Sorry for my mistake, the computer actually respond. Now it is finish formating. I can use again. However, all my files was deleted.
 
1. connect the device to the computer and make sure it is turned on.
2. go to 'my computer' find the external drive (eg. Drive D)
3. right click on the device and choose format.
4. a small window will appear click format.
5. that's it
