occupancy in Michigan? I have been living in the same apartment now for 2 years in the detroit area.
my Landlord seems to had nothing but issues with the Property Taxes and issues on the property.
we have received a paper posted on our door today saying our address is in violation for not have a certificate of occupancy ..... Can the Landlord still collect the monthly rent? The house needs to be inspected by the city and we are not sure if it will pass cause the place has not been kept up to code. Can be be kicked out?? what steps should we take to clear this matter
