I had a rumbling from the front wheel of my car and suspecting it was a wheel took it to my local main dealer for repair. I also asked them to adjust the steering as it was slightly off centre as this should be covered under warranty. The garage said the rumbling and the wheel being off centre was due to the tyre tread being low at 3mm. They also said all tyres should be the same make. I have chanted the tyres and it has made no difference any ideas how to challenge the diagnostic as I am no mechanic and I feel I have been fed a load of rubbish?
