K. So our Carbon Monoxide detector started to alarm and the reading says: "34 PPM". However, we've checked all the pilot lights and they are all off. We are having our hardwood refinished and some finisher has been used on the floors. The finisher is highly flammable and contains certain chemicals that I think may trigger the alarm to go off.

Can Wood Finisher make the Carbon Monoxide detector to go off? Is 34 PPM a Bad Exposure Level?

If so, would opening windows to bring fresh air help? Feedback appreciated. Thanks!
