Can you add in a character to an iPod/iPhone video game?

I have this game on my iPod Touch (5th generation) called Sonic Dash. It features Sonic, Tails, Amy and Knuckles. I was wanting to find a way to add in another character, Shadow the Hedgehog, to play the game as.

So my question is, is there a way to get into an iPod/iPhone game (like the code, perhaps?) and add in a character at your own doing? I've got very little knowledge of computers/tech stuff. :(

not easily or legally.

you would need to generate a model to use, import it, write the program scripts for the character from scratch, produce Animations, completely unpack and repack the data files.
and Sadly, Apple does not allow any of these as stated in their EULA.
