I ask because my dad is in the hospital right now, his blood sugar level max was at 810. The hospital called me today saying that i need to go down there to learn how to give him insulin shots (he refuses to do it himself - just out of stubbornness) and how to keep him on a strict diet. I was just wondering if there is a way to get paid for it. I am a first time mother and I think it will be hard to keep him and my 13 month old son on a schedule.
If not it is ok, I believe that our parents took care of us when we were little and now that they need help it is our time to help them :)
If it makes a difference I am in Arizona.
Thanks for any info. !
Oh also, a lil over a week ago he had cataract surgery, but he still can't see. That was in his right eye. The dr.s say they don't know if they will be able to help his left eye because it is so far gone..or something of that sort. He can barely pour a glass of milk..
