Can you download fun/stupid/game apps on Android smartphones?

Whenever I look up the apps available it's all just serious stuff...getting Google Earth and better mp3 quality kind of things. Can you get any fun apps like you can on the iPhone, just fun stupid apps?

I'll be getting a smartphone on Pay As You Go, not billpay, Vodafone, and on my old phone I could go on facebook for one pound a day or something...will it be the same to go on the internet/youtube etc on a smartphone, or do I have to pay by the minute?

I don't see why not. My friends have the popular Angry Birds games on the Android phones. Just look further, I am sure you'll find them.

Not sure of other question.
