in the future? If you go to google video and type Andre A Fenton on Nova Science now you can see the experiment he did on the rats by injecting a chemical called zip into the rats hippacampus. The rats after the zip was injected forgot their long term memories of the memory placement test. So do you think the next step is to inject zip into the memories of larger animals like cats and small monkeys and then larger monkeys like chimps and then apes. Because a rats brain is diffrent than the brain of a cat or monkey in size and intellegence. Also chimps are I think 99% the same as a human being. So if it works on the chimp could it work the same in a human being. I know this is a long way off into the future but we need to start somewhere, because some people would want to a drug or machine to have say a bad memory erased or or to maybe help them with a addiction or depression. Also the chemical zip did not harm the rats and I think it is harmless to the animal. Also how far back do you think the chemical Zip erases the rats memories. Like for example if a rat did the memory placment test a months ago and you injected the chemical zip do you think the memorys of the placment test would be gone from a months ago. Or does it only work after a day or a week after the memory placement test. Thank you for your help with these questions
