...your fitness will your speed be affected? Basically im 17 at the moment before when i was around 13 i was like really fast, like lightning people used to nick name me quick silver, because in races i would always start of slow and then zoom past people. I was the fastest in my class and school.
But since then ive got out of shape not majorly but still im not as fit as i was back then, so now im trying to lose some weight build up my stamina. I feel now when im racing i can still go pretty fast but before i used to be able to keep pushing and pushing myself when i was racing to go faster and faster. Now i can't reach that speed but obviously with the added weight and lack of fitness i guess its expected.
What i want to know is when i get in shape loose weight and regain my stamina will i regain my speed i once had. Because i know some people who are just slow no matter how skinny they are there just slower like my friend. What do you think could i get my speed back...im also alot taller now about 6'2 so hopefully i can go even faster. What do you think?
