Can you get Internet onto your Ipod Touch/Phone through a modem??

If you can, please explain each step, I'm on vacation and there isn't any wi-fi where I am at so that I can use the internet and other applications that require the internet.

ipodt ouch and iphone can only access internet trhough wifi

Nope.

but if you have an iPhone and you're still in the US, you'll still be able to used EDGE to get on the internet.

As for the iPod Touch, your only choice would be to bring along a wireless router to hook the internet to (like plug the internet LAN line into the wireless router...if it's DSL and requires a modem, then plug the line into the modem then plug the modem into the wireless router).
